Poplar-Bark Baskets

Made from the bark of the Big-Tooth Aspen (Poplar in the Midwest) our baskets are trimmed with Sandbar Willow and laced with the inner-bark of the Bitternut Hickory tree. The baskets have a base of ½” plywood. Sizes and uses can vary widely (measurements below are circumference + height) :

Smaller baskets (20” – 30”) are nice for utensil holders, vases, pencil holders, small plants, etc. Medium-size (30” – 50”) — potted plants, magazines or umbrella stands, small waste baskets... Larger (50” – 70”) — larger waste baskets, kindling bins, larger potted plants, etc.
